Chitrapur Heritage Foundation, USA

Over the past years, CHF contributed towards the maintenance of the Shri Chitrapur Museum. Its construction was funded by a private India-based foundation. CHF encourages US donors to contribute towards its upkeep and enhancement as a vital part of preserving our heritage.

The old and new high school construction was funded by a private US-based foundation. Since the establishment of Srivali High School, CHF has contributed over $200K towards the Support-A-Student (SAS) program. CHF encourages US donors to support students through its SAS program. At $250 per student per year, your sponsorship pays for school uniforms, mid-day meals, building maintenance, staff salaries and utilities. Our goal is to support at least 100 students each year. Help us meet this goal!

CHF purchased 1000 bags for the 2012 Konkani Sammelan. We are exploring sales channels for selling products made by Samvit Sudha in the US. The proceeds from these sales directly go to the women employed by this Shirali-based organization.

CHF has contributed in the past to these self-help women’s groups and hopes to increase its contribution going forward.
